Micromeritics Analytical Services is pleased to offer calibrated mercury penetrometers and Tristar sample tubes.
Norcross, GA - 3/31/2005 -- When working with the Autopore series of instruments, it is sometimes necessary to have the volume of the penetrometer precisely calibrated. This is a time-consuming process which requires additional mercury handling and takes away from the productivity of the instrument. You can now purchase calibrated penetrometers or we can calibrate your existing penetrometers.
The Tristar 3000 is a high-throughput surface area and porosity instrument which does not require calibration of sample tubes. However, if even higher through put is desired, one option is to skip the free space measurement through the use of calibrated sample tubes, thus saving an additional 10 minutes or more from each analysis.
