Micromeritics Analytical Services to Exhibit at 2005 AAPS Annual Meeting and Exposition – Booth 2823
Micromeritics Analytical Services is pleased to announce we will be exhibiting at the upcoming AAPS National Meeting and Exposition to be held November 6-10 in Nashville, TN.
Norcross, GA - 10/27/2005 -- Our exhibit, located in booth 2823, is titled “Partners in Particle Analysis.” We will feature information on Micromeritics Analytical Services as well as our strategic alliance partner, MVA Scientific Consultants. Experienced, qualified, technical personnel will be available to discuss particle characterization methods designed specifically for the pharmaceutical industry.
Micromeritics Analytical Services is highlighting two new pieces of equipment which will enhance our analytical service offerings and increase sample throughput. A new particle size analyzer, the Malvern Mastersizer 2000, is capable of performing particle size analysis using both dry and wet dispersions. The particle size measurement range is 0.02 micrometers to 2000 micrometers.
A new multi-station gas adsorption instrument, Micromeritics' ASAP 2420, is ideally suited for nitrogen or krypton B.E.T. surface area measurements. The use of krypton gas often is preferred for pharmaceutical samples because of its utility in accurately determining low surface area. The ASAP 2420 also does an excellent job of measuring complete adsorption and desorption isotherms.
