Due to strong growth, Micromeritics Analytical Services (MAS) has moved to a new location with more than 5,000 square feet of laboratory space.

Outsourcing Makes CENT$
One of the key decisions managers are faced with involves the purchase and qualification of expensive laboratory instrumentation versus outsourcing their analytical work. There is no universal right or wrong decision. Each situation is different and requires careful consideration. Regardless of the choice, there are many scientific or technical reasons, regulatory or compliance factors, personnel issues, and economic considerations that play a part in every decision. Presented here are reasons for outsourcing laboratory work, a part of the decision process that is most often overlooked.
